Requesting deletion of your data

Last updated 29 July 2026

You can ask us to delete personal data we hold about you. This page explains how to do that, what happens next, and what we can and cannot delete.

How to make a request

Email privacy@getaudun.com with the subject line "Data deletion request". Please include:

You can also write to us at the postal address at the bottom of this page. We only use the details you give us to find and delete your data, and to reply to you.

What happens next

  1. We acknowledge your request, normally within five working days.
  2. We verify your identity, proportionately — usually by confirming you control the phone number or email address in question. We will not ask for more than we need.
  3. We identify who controls your data. Most data in Audun is held on behalf of a business customer of ours, who is the data controller. Where that is the case, we forward your request to them without undue delay and support them in acting on it. We will tell you who they are.
  4. We delete the data we are able to delete, and confirm to you in writing what was deleted.

We complete requests within one month. If a request is complex we may extend this by up to two further months, and we will tell you why within the first month.

What we delete

Deletion covers our live systems immediately and our backups on their normal rotation cycle.

What we may have to keep

In limited cases we must retain some data despite a deletion request. Where this applies we keep only the minimum necessary, restrict access to it, and tell you what we kept and why. This can include:

Just want to stop receiving messages?

You do not need a deletion request for that. Reply STOP to any SMS or WhatsApp message, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email us at privacy@getaudun.com. Opt-outs take effect immediately and are enforced before any further message is sent.

If you are not satisfied

You can complain to the data protection authority in your country of residence.
